MusikFest--Poets For Justice

Theme: "No Limits" Showcase

Description:
In a world where we are constantly bombarded with reports of crimes, tragedies, and disasters, it's easy to grow numb and become indifferent or even cynical when good things happen. And you might find yourself thinking that all the negativity and evil we see has no limit...but what if I told you that good, love, and hope don't have a limit, either? Don't believe me? Join us as we celebrate life, love, resilience, and all the good that dwells within and surrounds us even if we don't always see or feel it.

THE RACE: Virtual Production via Discord

Directed by: Heidi Vogel

Originally devised and presented at Georgetown University in Fall 2008. THE RACE is a mix of performance and interactive dialogue about Leadership and Participatory Democracy. Wabash Theatre is reimagining the production process by building a theatrical event that is enhanced by the challenges of Covid-19. Through incorporating elements of playback theater, devised movement, facilitation and listening, and multi-site virtual playing spaces, this event will be inclusive and open to complex perspectives and experiences while simultaneously maintaining a commitment to hosting space that is anti-racist and anti-hate.
